Local Executive Officers' Council

The Executive Officers’ Council (EOC) are the executives, full, part-time, or volunteer, of the local associations affiliated with the IBA and NAHB. EOC officers elected at the annual meeting are chairman, vice chairman and secretary/treasurer. While the responsibilities of the EO vary, generally, the EO serves as chief administrative officer, recommends, and participates in the formulation of new policies and makes decisions within the bounds of existing policies. The EO also plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates the staff, programs and activities to ensure the association's goals are met.
