Event Description:
IBA’s Annual Conference will be held Nov. 29-30 in Carmel, IN. The two-day event brings together our Board of Directors, committee members, and local HBA executive officers to learn about and discuss advocacy, membership, and association management.

The Conference begins on the 29th with informative presentations from NAHB and IBA staff. Our Leadership Luncheon features a presentation on nonprofit management and good governance with keynote speaker Beth Gazley, Ph.D., a professor at IU Bloomington. Following lunch will be two sessions of interactive roundtables lead by dynamic speakers. David Logan with NAHB Economics will offer the keynote at the IBA Board of Directors Meeting, which will also include association awards, elections for 2024 leadership and a preview of legislative and regulatory policies. After the meeting, stick around for IBA’s inaugural awards program – Hoosier Excellence Awards – recognizing outstanding building and remodeling projects from across the state in a variety of categories. Return on the 30th for committee meetings where you’ll exchange ideas and develop policy to support the home building industry.
