Event Description:
Effective January 1, 2020, Indiana’s statewide residential code will be updated to the 2018 International Residential Code with Indiana amendments. The Indiana Residential Code governs the
construction of Class 2 structures, which include one- and two-family dwellings and townhouses.

Indiana Builders Association, in partnership with the APA, will host full-day training focused on the significant changes to all aspects of the code including: building, energy conservation, plumbing, mechanical, fuel gas, and electrical.  Training is open to builders, trade contractors, and building officials.

Space is limited, so register early to reserve your seat. Registration will end one week prior to each training.

*Consider waiting to purchase a code book since an Indiana-specific IRC (with the amendments integrated into the text) may be available for a fee as an electronic download or hard copy. Additionally, a read-only, electronic version of the Indiana-specific IRC may be available for free.
